What is the GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force on May 25th, 2018, aims to protect the fundamental right to privacy and the protection of personal data of European Union (EU) citizens.
This regulation affects any entity (including websites) that processes EU citizens' personal data.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

How do we collect this information ?
When you contact us by email or any other means, or visit our website, or purchase any product from us, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for activities associated with Thos Birch Libations Company Ltd only. These activities include, but are not limited to, shipping your purchased products to your address, marketing emails such as special offers, new brand launches, email updates. If you contact us or follow us by social media you will receive updates via our social media platforms.
How we store, use, share and disclose your personal information?
Our company website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to advertise our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. Your personal data such as name and contact details are stored by our e-commerce partner Shopify.com who are GDPR compliant. Your name, delivery address and contact details will also be shared with the delivery companies we use in order to ensure you receive the products you have ordered.
How we protect your data
Your data is kept by our E-Commerce partners shopify.com and our website partner Wix.com
They are committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure and are GDPR compliant.
Their security measures include: -

- regular cyber security assessments of all service providers who may handle your personal data;
- regular scenario planning and crisis management exercises to ensure they are ready to respond to cyber security attacks and data security incidents;

If you are a candidate we may contact you to notify you about employment opportunities such as new permanent or contract roles we feel could be suitable to you.
